“…I was encouraged by the warm, engaging and gentle manner of instruction. The presentations, suggestions and practical applications will inspire mothers that loving and productive homemaking is not only very doable but desirable! Truly, this series is not simply a reference to, but a pleasant and practical demonstration of, the admonitions found in Titus 2.3-5…” Pamela Spurling of The Welcome Home
“…I enjoyed this DVD so much, I even had my daughters watch it! She included everything on how to cook, clean, organize, manage, decorate your walls, budget, pay bills and much more… Jennifer lovingly instructs, humbly encourages as she gives us an inside look into the workings of her home. Also featured is an older “Titus 2″ lady who shares her heart, thoughts and wisdom throughout the entire movie. I am looking forward to to seeing the next parts in the series!” June Fuentes of A Wise Woman Builds Her Home
Run Time: 54 minutes + 30 minutes bonus material
Thank you so much for this video. I originally bought the DVD as a teaching aid in training my daughters, but found myself encouraged and edified as well. Our whole family watched it (7 sons & 2 daugthers) and we were all greatly blessed. As a pastor’s wife, I will be showing it to the ladies and young ladies of our church at a get together next week. Can’t wait for the next one! Many blessings to your family for your labor.
I ditto all of the above reviews ! Yes, I bought this for continued inspiration for myself ( home-keeper for 16 years ) as well as for my daughters. Our favorite part was the the proving that a very messy kitchen can be drastically improved in 15 minutes or less 🙂 We need all the positive influences we can find for our families in today’s upside down culture. God bless you & your family Jennifer … Looking forward to the continued series !
I loved the dvd. It was very helpful and had alot of great tips and good reminders to make your day easier. I look forward to your next video
I wish I would have seen this before I was married. I have been married 18 years but still found such encouragement. Jennifer’s uncluttered home radiates a calm joy. She explains things simply and clearly in a cheerful way. I really value the Titus 2 woman parts. Many wives and mothers today did not grow up in homes where these things were intentionally taught. I look forward to the rest of this series.
Jennifer, what a blessing you are! I got this dvd, knowing that I would enjoy it, but ultimately for my three girls–another resource in my teaching them to be homekeepers. But what started as something to encourage my girls encouraged ME!
Mrs. Moore –
What a wonderful documentary this will be! I know many moms – young and old, first-time and veteran, will glean so much from the wisdom, insight, and experience Jennifer shares in this timely documentary. Like she says, most of us didn’t grow up with a vision nor the training for homemaking. In a time when there is a dearth of “Titus Two Women” who are willing to come along and teach and guide younger ladies, this tender film will be so inspiring and encouraging – a breath of fresh air!
Homemaking 101 is absolutely wonderful! It is especially helpful for those who do not have any Titus 2 women in their live. It’s encouraging, insightful and full of sweetness. Thank you so much. We are expectantly waiting for the next one in the series.
This video is one of my favorites! I bought it a few months ago for myself and have nearly worn it out. I turn it on just about every time we do housecleaning. It inspires us to clean, just hearing the music now notifies everyone it’s that time and there’s no arguments any more. It points out things to my girls (ages 9,6 and 2) that I might not think to point out. I’ve been able to glean some new recipes as well and I love the “extra” information about cooking terms, that in particular, was great for my oldest daughter. Jennifer (the host) has such a wonderfully gentle spirit that just shines through the whole film, and I LOVE the addition of the Titus 2 Mentor, she’s so honest but has great understanding for the trials of being a wife and mother! I was so pleased with this video that I just purchased 2 more of them as gifts for some sweet mom’s I know. I know this is supposed to be for “new” wives and mothers, but as a wife for 13 years and a mother of 5 I can verify that it can be used and loved by everyone. It’s a wonderfully blessed way to get your family inspired to clean and to get scripture in your heart at the same time. Thank you Family Vision Films, I just can’t wait until Volume 2 is available!
This was such a blessing. It kind of set me free from an awful rut, and gave me back a desire to be the housewife God describes in His Word. Thank you for this wonderful encouragement!
We love this Being a first generation homemaker in many generations, this was helpful and fun to watch. my daughters look forward to the next one,am also. Was a little on the basic side but still enjoyed and I know the next will give more ideals for me and my daughters.
I really enjoyed this dvd! It gives practical ways to stay on top of cleaning and tending to your house and family! I love how she emphasized that it is our purpose to take care of our family and that God wants us home to do that! Thank you!
I watched this with my daughters and we all enjoyed it throughly! I would highly recommend using this with young moms and daughters to instill these principles early in life!
I am a wife of 11 years, mama to five almost six children under ten. Sometimes I get so behind and discouraged. This dvd really helped change the attitude that I had been having lately! I really enjoyed the thoughts from the older Titus 2 woman, Janet Crowl as well. I appreciated the honesty in this dvd. My daughter and I are looking forward to Volume 2.
