Oh yes! Lots of thinking today. I mulled it over for a few hours while tending to other things and then sat down to write out my thoughts (yes over a cup of coffee) while the kids were having a quiet rest time… I’m realizing what I’m seeking after as a homemaker is more than getting tasks done. I want to be efficient at a smooth-running home so that I can be present with my family. Be involved in hospitality. Be kind in giving instruction. And be successful at cultivating a fun, creative, warm, and welcoming environment. The well-oiled routines are just a means to that end. (I hope!!) 🙂
